- Arms Act (Waffengesetz WaffG) for items for public use and such special forbidden items only allowed with specific exception permit of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA)
- Explosives Act (Sprengstoffgesetz SprengG) and
- War Weapons Control Act (Kriegswaffenkontrollgesetz KWKG)

Special permits and certificate

- Certificate of specialized knowledge in the field of transport of weapons and ammunition
- Specific exception permit of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) as per §40 WaffG
- License to handle all kind of explosives as per §7 SprenG
